For the PBIS *Dollar Dress Down Days, students will pay $1 to dress in non-uniform clothing. However, their clothing choices must still be in compliance with the WSFCS Dress Code. The WSFCS Dress Code may be found near page 10 of the WSFCS Student-Parent Handbook. Please familiarize yourself with these requirements. As a reminder our Standard Mode of Dress (SMOD) / School Uniform policy can be found here.
*Dollar Dress Down Days are always optional. The $1 goes directly back to our children to fund the rewards earned by making good choices at school and earning “Bees.” These rewards include many of the items in the PBIS store, the special Annual Holiday Store, treats and refreshments served at the monthly PBIS incentive events. It also helps fund the larger reward trips to the movies or bowling where we purchase these things for our students and pay for the buses and the bus drivers.
All of these activities and rewards would not be possible to provide with out these $1 Dress Down Days. We recognize there are families who may not have the funds to participate, which is why these days are voluntary. There are other ways for students and classes to earn additional dress down opportunities throughout the year.
