    During this year at Old Richmond Elementary, students will have the opportunity to explore many different types and techniques of art.  Each grade will have the chance to work with different art techniques such as drawing, painting, weaving, sculpting, printing, as well as others!  There will also be different famous (and not so famous) artists throughout the year that students will learn about. Students will also be exposed to art in North Carolina, throughout the United States, as well as art from all around the world. Each art lesson is based around the standards for Art Education and address many different objectives to ensure that each student is growing and learning through art!
