    Dear Parent(s) and/or Guardian(s),

Welcome to the new school year! I am looking forward to working with your child. This is my 8th year of teaching Spanish to students. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (GO HEELS! J) with a BA in Spanish and a BA in Communication Studies. While in college, I studied abroad for a summer in Seville, Spain. I taught my first two years at Jefferson Middle School here in Winston-Salem, and then moved to Auburn, Alabama for two years for my husband’s job. In Auburn, I taught High School Spanish at a local private school. While Alabama was a fun place to live, we are so happy to be back home in North Carolina! I taught three years at Flat Rock Middle School and am now excited to become a Meadowlark Mustang! My husband and I have one little boy who is a year and half years old and he is into everything! I have "retired" from coaching high school track and cross country, but I still like to use many of my coaching skills in the classroom and believe students respond well to it! I love the Spanish language and many cultures of different Spanish-speaking countries, and hope to pass that passion on to your children.

I will return your phone calls and emails. Please contact me with any questions or concerns that you have about anything at (336)703-4228 (school phone) or email me at agsullivan@wsfcs.k12.nc.us. (Email is much faster).

    Let’s make this year a great one! ~Señora Sullivan~

Recommended supplies for success in my class:
    1. Something to write with ....Pen or Pencil (Pencil is best)
    2. Something to write on....Notebook Paper OR a Meade Composition Notebook (for note taking and writing assignments)
    3. Something to put your things from me in...A folder or 3 ring binder will hold your handouts from me. If you need to share this binder with another class, that is just fine with me!
