           Welcome to Kindergarten! We are so excited that all of you are part of our class! I am Mrs. Larson, and I have been a teacher for 24 years. I taught 4th grade for 5 years, spent a year in 1st grade, and have taught kindergarten for 18 years.
     I grew up in Pfafftown, went to college at Appalachian State University, and now live in Lewisville with my wonderful husband, two daughters, one a junior at Reagan High School and the other a junior at Appalachian State (Go Mountaineers!), and two Beagles. I like to read, and I have been known to do a little community theatre!  Ms. Hayes is our classroom assistant teacher. She has two daughters as well, and she loves the outdoors and reading! She loves kids as much as I do, and we are going to have lots of fun this year! I believe that learning should be active, enjoyable, and something that can happen anytime and anywhere. So, get ready kindergarteners...away we go!
