    Welcome to the exciting world of dance!
     
    I am pleased to be instructing again at Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy for my 4th year! We have grown by leaps and bounds and still have many goals to achieve. Thank you for trusting me with your child's dance education and I look forward to working with all of you again!  
     
    The objectives for dance is to teach the North Carolina Dance Essentials (http://www.ncpublicschools.org/acre/standards/new-standards/) , allow the student to develop self confidence, body awareness, exploration in kinesthetic learning, and to find their voice in the art form through several mediums.  
     
    Feel free to browse the webpage that holds information (syllabi, itinerary etc.) & resources (Vocab sites, websites for high school) and how to buy uniform for high school. Also be sure to check back frequently for performance updates and important announcements.  If you have any questions that are not answered on here PLEASE feel free to contact me via email or school phone!
