Thank you for visiting my page! My name is Brooke Preslar and I am the proud principal of Smith Farm Elementary School.
I am originally from Mocksville but I am a long time resident of Forsyth County. I went to college at Appalachian State University and got my Master’s Degree in Administration from UNC Chapel Hill.
My husband Brad and I have two daughters who are also in elementary school. They keep us busy but they also help us understand the joys and challenges of being a parent of an elementary-age student. These years are flying by too fast!
My professional background includes almost 20 years of experience in education. I started out as an 8th-grade middle school teacher and taught at South Davie Middle School and Ellis Middle School in Davie County. After six years in the classroom, I decided to pursue administration and spent two years in Forsyth County at Mt. Tabor High School and Carver High School, before moving back to Davie County to work at Pinebrook Elementary School, where I was the principal for six and a half years. I grew to love elementary school and am amazed by all the new learning that happens for students in a short amount of time. Our students can do great things if we give them the support they need to be successful!
I believe that students cannot be successful without the school and families working together. Please do not hesitate to contact me any time you have a need or a question. I am here to serve the Smith Farm community!
