Mrs. Chrissy Sergiacomi
School Counselor, Sherwood Forest Elementary
Welcome to Sherwood Forest! This is my 9th year at Sherwood Forest and my 21st year as a school counselor. I graduated from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology. I received my Masters Degree in Education from UNC-Chapel Hill. In 2002 I began working in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools. I have been an elementary school counselor, a high school counselor, and a high school counseling director. I received my certification in K-12 School Counseling through the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in 2005 and renewed that certification in 2014.I strongly believe that EVERY child can succeed, and my job is to support students as they work to gain necessary academic, social and emotional skills. I aim to be a calming presence for our children and to help them understand their feelings and manage them in ways that will serve them well for the rest of their lives.I cannot imagine a better place to work than Sherwood Forest! I feel so fortunate to work with our students, staff and families everyday.Contact Information336-774-4646cmsergiacomi@wsfcs.k12.nc.us
