Dear Parents/Guardian,

!Saludos! Greetings! I am very excited to be teaching your child this 2015-2016 school year at East Forsyth High School. This letter is to introduce myself and inform you of my classroom expectations.

Students looking to broaden their cultural knowledge and learn a new and exciting language have signed up for the right class. In this class, students will learn new vocabulary, culture and grammar. Through speaking, reading, writing and listening to the Spanish language your child will develop a new understanding of many Spanish-speaking countries.

To achieve this goal students are expected to be present not only physically but mentally. Attendance is mandatory in order to be successful not only in the classroom but in life. To engage your child I will be using a textbook for guidance, in addition to interactive games, songs and other hands on methods of learning language.

I will be sending home a Classroom Guidelines the first day of class that you and your child will read through, discuss, sign and return back to me the following class. The Guidelines will cover my classroom expectations, supplies needed, grading, attendance policy and projects. If you ever have any questions please feel free to contact me via email or phone.
