The purpose of the Mount Tabor Student Service Department is to assist students throughout their journey to graduation. Students are encouraged to meet with their counselor to discuss personal and academic concerns or problems, registration for classes, graduation requirements, college and university admissions, and career exploration.
Students wishing to meet with their counselor need to request an appointment within the Student Service Office. In the case of an emergency or crisis please inform the Counseling Administrative Assistant and a counselor will meet with you as soon as possible. Parents who wish to meet with multiple teachers at the same time should contact their child's counselor to set up a meeting.Parents and Students:As we continue our ELearning from home, if at any point you need to reach a member of the Student Service Office with a non-emergency, please refer to this Google Form bitly:
There is a place on the form to designate whom you'd like your response to go to. We will work promptly and diligently to handle each request as it comes in.
In response to the challenges of meeting the social and emotional learning as well as behavioral health needs of our school community during school closure, the WS/FCS Student Services Helpline was launched today to provide additional support in these areas. Students and families can connect with Student Services professionals Monday through Friday from 10:00 - 2:00 by calling the WS/FCS School Closure Hotline at (336) 661-3128 and requesting the Student Services Helpline. The helpline will be managed by School Social Workers, School Counselors, and School Psychologists who will provide resources to support student and family needs.
