• To my Griffith family

I am truly blessed to have been given the opportunity to work at Griffith Elementary as an Assistant Principal. I’m finishing my second year and have loved every minute of my time here.

I am the proud father of two beautiful girls. My oldest daughter is a freshman at Appalachian State University where she is studying to be a high school English teacher and a writer. My youngest daughter is a junior at North Davidson High school this year. She loves playing her Alto saxophone in the marching band as well as the jazz band. Friday nights at the football games are always exciting for me, especially at half time.

I came to Griffith from Piney Grove elementary where I spent 6 years as the Assistant Principal there. I have been working for the Winston Salem Forsyth County school system for twenty three years. I began my career as a physical education teacher at Easton Elementary and Konnoak Elementary. I moved into the Adapted PE position where I enjoyed working with physical education teachers as well as exceptional needs students.

Before my time in education, I spent five years playing minor league baseball for the Milwaukee Brewers. It was amazing to live the dream of every boy who ever played the game.

I have an open door policy so please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
