Welcome to kindergarten at Morgan Elementary!  I am so excited that you will be a part of my class.  I have taught fifth, fourth and third grade but kindergarten is definitely my favorite.  I grew up in Martinsville, VA and graduated from Radford University.  I now live in Clemmons with my husband who is also a teacher.  We have two beautiful daughters, a silly dog Layla, and a lazy cat, Eve.   My assistant this year is Mrs. McIntosh, who is studying at Salem college to become a teacher herself.  We both truly enjoy being with children and watching them grow.  My philosophy is that everyone can learn but the paths that we take to get there are all different.  Get ready to have a great year!
