Steps to enroll your student(s) in school:
2. Take the following documents to the school with you:
(a.) Proof of residence (we can use a current utility bill, lease agreement, pay stub or any other official document that has the parent's name and address on it. We can not use a driver's license or piece of junk mail as proof of residence.)
(b.) Parent's driver's license or other government issued photo id as proof of identity.
(c.) Child's birth certificate
(d.) Child's immunization record
(e.) Completed
Enrollment Form (you may complete this form at school if you are unable to print it)
3. If there is a court ordered custody arrangement please bring your most current court order
4. If you child is transferring from another school the most recent report card is helpful, but not required.
At Kernersville Elementary School our enrollment hours are 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Please plan for at least thirty minutes to complete other required forms (ie. Medical History, Home Language, Transportation, etc.).
Children must be five on or before August 31st of the enrolling year to enter Kindergarten.
