• My name is Mrs. Billy Sapp. I am honored to be at Career Center working with your child as one of the Health Science teachers and HOSA Advisor.  My educational back ground consists of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Winston-Salem State University and I hold my National Certification as a Pharmacy Tech.  I began my career in education in 1995 and in nursing in 1988. If your child has an interest in a Health Care Career, (animal or human), they are in a great place and will benefit enormously from this curriculum! It is my desire to aid your child as they develop a firm foundation in both medical terminology and the Health Science Curriculum. The process can be challenging! Your child will develop critical thinking and research skills. Expectations are very high for every student and each will be encouraged to reach their fullest potential, he/she will be encouraged to be in school daily and do their very best be it a project, group work or studying for a test!!

I have been married to my best friend, Wayne since August 1, 1987! We have three amazing daughters. Two of them have families of their own and our adopted baby girl is in elementary school. We struggle to overcome her special needs but know they will make her a more determined, hardworking and kinder person later in life. We have provided foster care for 18 children during our eleven year tenure as foster parents. Also we have three very active grandchildren: Parker, Mackenzie, and Christian.

I am passionate about the health care industry, teaching, being active in my church, volunteering, helping others and spending time with my family. My desire is to guide and encourage young people to be the absolute best they can be academically while building our community through service to others.
