Old Richmond Elementary School

Hi!  My name is Lesley May.  This will be my 17th year teaching young children and my 2nd year teaching first grade.  One of the most enjoyable things about first grade is being a part of teaching children to read.  I love helping a child nurture his/her love for reading.  This summer, while you are enjoying the wonders of summer, please continue to read, read, read! Visit the library and one of my personal favorites, Edward McKay, where books are generally marked 1/2 price and are in good condition.  My family at home is Rob, my husband, and my two beautiful girls, Nina (9 years), Lila (6 years) and our sweet dog, Luna.  Thank you to those families and staff at ORES who have made me feel so welcome this year!  Have a happy and healthy summer and see everyone in the Fall!
