Welcome to Gator Nation!

My name is Anita W. Hooker and this is my 2nd year as Principal at Ashley Academy. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Winston-Salem State University. Go Rams! A Masters in Education Leadership from Grand Canyon University, and an EdS from Walden University. This will be my 19th year in education.

Here at Ashley it is my duty to assist with creating the best learning environment for our scholars. An environment that is positive, respectful, and equitable, so our scholars can reach their potential and achieve academic success. In everything we do here at Ashley, we do what is best for children. Children are and will always be our first priority!
