Orchestra 4 is an honors level course, In Orchestra 4, students will receive an all-encompassing education in vocal music. Students will work on tone, technique, literature, history and music theory. Students will perform at least two concerts over the course of the year. Students will be required to prepare materials for all-county auditions in October and MUST audition as well. Students will receive a weekly participation grade based on their performance and making sure they have all required materials each day. Student will have two major papers each year and one major presentation assignment. Assignments will be significantly more difficult than Orchestra 1, 2 or 3.
