Orchestra 1 is for students who have been in orchestra for 1 to 2 years. In Orchestra 1, students will receive an all-encompassing education in vocal music. Students will work on tone, technique, literature, history and music theory. Students will perform two concerts over the course of the year. Students will receive a weekly participation grade based on their performance and making sure they have all required materials each day. Student will have two major papers each year and one major presentation assignment.
