Dear Cook Literacy Model Families and Staff,

I am honored and excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Cook Literacy Model School. It is a privilege to join this community of educators, students, and families, and I look forward to working together to ensure every student thrives both academically and personally.

As an educator with 22 years of experience in public education, as a teacher and instructional leader, I bring with me a deep commitment to building strong relationships, promoting student success, and supporting teachers in their essential work.

At the core of my leadership is a belief in the power of open communication, collaboration, and high expectations for all. I want every family to feel connected and valued, and every staff member to feel supported and empowered. Together, we will continue to foster a learning environment where students are challenged, supported, and celebrated.

I look forward to meeting many of you—whether during back-to-school events, in classrooms, or in the car line. I value your thoughts, and I’m eager to learn what makes this school special and how we can continue to grow together.
