Criteria to join Kernersville Middle School is based on grades and conduct. The Administration and Student Services team evaluates all potential member based on the following:

SCHOLARSHIP

Has not made below a "B"/80 for the school year prior to the year in which the student is applying... with no grades of C, D or F.
Was a member of another honor society at a previous school

CHARACTER

Exemplifies high character traits
Has received NO out of school suspension during the previous school year. Infractions are based on a case by case basis.

SERVICE

Member of Crosby Scholars or willing to become a member of Crosby Scholars

ONCE A KMHS MEMBER:

Attendance to all meetings are highly encouraged
Maintain an overall C average (with no D’s or F’s required)
Has received NO out of school suspension during the school year. Infractions are based on a case by case basis.
Must be a member of or join Crosby Scholars
Must give a toy or money to the Kernersville Middle Honor Society Toy Drive.
Donate a toy or monetary donation to Toy Drive or Winter Service project
Donate 3 cans or monetary donation to Spring Food Drive
