“My weapon is literature.” - Chinua Achebe

We battle through the tales told over the ages and wage war against the words suppressed for centuries.  We enable students to use their mighty pens as swords against injustice and mediocrity. We guide students through skills that illuminate the paths they choose in life. We help students find their own voices at a time when they feel silenced. Our years of combined experience lead us to lead others down a trail of linguistic greatness. We come, we see, we read. We are the English Department.
