Thanks to the generosity of past donors and a growing number of new contributors, the Legacy Campaign continues to raise an average of $100,000 each year which makes a tremendous impact on our students and staff. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference, and collectively helps make Reynolds the place where everyone wants to be!

What is the Legacy Campaign?
The Legacy campaign is R.J. Reynolds primary fundraising initiative, dedicated to supporting all students across Academics, Arts and Athletics. Funds raised through this campaign are strategically allocated to areas of need within our school, often not covered by district funding. By helping bridge these funding gaps, the Legacy Campaign ensures that every student at Reynolds has access to the resources, opportunities, and support they need to thrive. Your contribution directly impacts our entire school community. Below are some of the highlights the campaign supported throughout the 2024-25 school year.

Academics
Scholarships - RJR Tradition of Excellence and First Generation scholarships funded and awarded to two of our graduating seniors.
Straight A Luncheons - quarterly luncheons celebrating the academic success of our students.
Junior Marshalls - 30 new monogrammed sashes purchased to graduation and recognition.

Arts
New PA and Speaker System - was purchased this year, allowing our exceptionally talented students to perform at the best for all to enjoy!
Play Production Assistance - for our award winning performances this past year.

Athletics
New Equipment - for girls' softball, boys' baseball volleyball and soccer teams.
Field Maintenance
New Uniforms - for our playoff bound men's Lacrosse team.

School Spirit
Homecoming - festivities were the highest attended in history , with students from every grade participating and dancing the night away together.
Branded Gonfalons - ceremonial banners that proudly led our 420 graduates into the commencement ceremony this May. They featured our new official crest and will continue to be used in future graduations and special events.
