Ms. Yellock - ML

Hi, I’m Ms. Yellock! I teach our Multilingual Learners. You might know my title as ESL or ELL but I think of my title as the FUN because that’s what I enjoy bringing to the Four Domains of Language Learning! My mission with our ML students, is to make them brave as we continuously progress toward English language proficiency. We all know kids are bravest when enjoying themselves. Bravery builds confidence, confidence builds determination and determination is essential to the mastery of a new skill set. I provide them with a space to be brave and the academic tools to be confident. We get to know each other in our small groups and build a community in which we create, analyze, and have lively discussions as we share and expand knowledge about language and culture.
