Scholarships
All scholarships will be posted on Naviance this school year. As opportunities are received, they will be posted on Naviance regularly. An effort is made to include local, state, and national scholarships based on information received. You are encouraged to visit this page often.
Some scholarships require school endorsements/recommendations to be considered. For these scholarships, students should submit the Request to be considered for a scholarship Google form by the established deadline.
For School Counselor recommendations, allow two weeks for completion. It is important for students to complete the student “Recommendation/Scholarship Questionnaire” before requesting a letter of recommendation from counselors or teachers. These forms are available online and will also be distributed during your individual meeting with your School Counselor beginning the week of September 16.
Morehead-Cain nominations are open NOW. The Morehead-Cain Scholar requires school nominations to be submitted by the end of Junior year. Current Juniors who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance; ability to influence and inspire others; dedication to physical activity and teamwork; and compassion, humility, perseverance, and integrity should submit the "Request to be considered form" AND a resume to Mrs. Hubbard by June 9.
