Some scholarships require school endorsements/recommendations to be considered.  For these scholarships, students should submit the "Request to be Considered" form AND resume by the established deadline.

For School Counselor recommendations, allow two weeks for completion. It is important for students to complete the student “Recommendation/Scholarship Questionnaire” before requesting a letter of recommendation from counselors or teachers.  These forms are available online and will also be available based on information shared in personalized emails to all seniors sent September 2-5. All Seniors should schedule an individual meeting with your School Counselor beginning the week of September 8.

Morehead-Cain nominations are open NOW.  The Morehead-Cain Scholar requires school nominations to be submitted by the end of Junior year.  Current Juniors who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance; ability to influence and inspire others; dedication to physical activity and teamwork; and compassion, humility, perseverance, and integrity should submit the "Request to be Considered" AND a resume to Mrs. Hubbard by June 9.  Five school nominees to represent West Forsyth in the Morehead-Cain Scholarship competition.  Reach out to Mrs. Hubbard (ahubbard@wsfcs.k12.nc.us) with questions. If you were not selected as school nominee, you can move forward as a "self-nominee" by visiting the Morehead-Cain webpage hyperlinked above.
