The Office of School Transformation is committed to the mission critical work of creating and enacting a comprehensive transformation plan that ensures equitable resourcing with differentiated supports to guarantee that every historically marginalized school breaks out of a cycle of underperformance so students can thrive and achieve the dreams they have for their future and contribute positively to the City Of Winston Salem. 

The office of school transformation will develop and execute a cohesive plan to ensure a comprehensive approach to support the district’s neediest schools. 

 As a result: 

• All schools will exit the state low performing list to provide a high quality choice for all families within the district.

• Students in historically underperforming schools will achieve grade level expectations and gain access to higher level courses in high school to deliver on our commitment of college and career-ready graduates.
