Secure Storage Practices To Reduce Gun Violence
In May 2023, the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Education passed a resolution in support of secure firearm storage within our community. Students from WS/FCS High Schools brought the resolution forward asking for support. The students cited evidence that suggests secure firearm storage is an essential component to any effective strategy in keeping communities, schools, and students safe.
