All Volunteers at MES must first register with Winston Salem Forsyth County Schools (WSFCS):

    www.wsfcsvolunteers.com

Directions for activating or reactivating your online volunteer application are located on the WS/FC Schools' “How Do I Volunteer”

    page:     https://www.wsfcs.k12.nc.us/site/volunteer

After completing and submitting the application, you will receive an auto-generated email from “emailverification@wsfcsvolunteers.com.” You must open the e-mail and click on the link to activate your application so it can be processed for approval. (If you don't see the e-mail in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder).

You will receive another email once you've been cleared to volunteer from “clearance@wsfcsvolunteers.com” once you’ve been cleared to volunteer. Please allow up to 7 days.

    • Generally, a “supervised volunteer” can meet/tutor/mentor with a student(s) when a student(s) and the volunteer are in the presence of a district/school employee(s). An “unsupervised volunteer” means a volunteer can meet/tutor/mentor with a student without a district/school employee being present.

    • Supervised or unsupervised status is determined by both (a) interests selected on the volunteer application and (b) a review of the volunteer background check.

    • Need to make changes to your application?

You may access your application at www.wsfcsvolunteers.com at any time to revise, change, or modify your information.

      Annual Renewal

Yearly, you will be asked to resubmit your application to make sure we have your current information.

For questions contact the Office of Volunteer Services at volunteers@wsfcs.k12.nc.us or 336.727.2696.
