• It is the responsibility of the school to collect the required fees established by the Board of Education, such as: physical education fees, lock fees, and charges for lost or damaged books, materials, supplies, and equipment.  Students who do not take physical education are not required to pay the physical education fee. All student fees and charges, both optional and required, are to be paid within 30 days of the date they become due.

     

    If a fee or charge has not been paid, the principal shall:

    • Deny participation in all extra-curricular activities

    • Prohibit purchasing optional products

    Required student fees :

    • Physical Education fee (if enrolled in PE/Dance)

    • Hallway lock rental fee (if lost, the student must replace the lock at a predetermined price)

    The principal, for students who meet the following criteria, may waive required student fees:

    • Indigent students;

    • Free lunch students; or

    • Students whose parents have unusual expenses due to mental or physical condition of a child with high medical bills. (Policy 3250.1)

    Optional student fees:

    • Publication fee (yearbook)

    • Automobile registration

    • School pictures

    • Senior fees (cap and gown)

    • Invitations for seniors varies

    • Prom tickets for juniors, seniors, guests

    • Insurance (School insurance plans can be purchased through an outside agency.  Forms are available in the Main Office.)
