On the evening of Friday, March 19th, at 7:00 pm, the Reynolds High School Orchestra will be part of an annual benefit concert. The concert will take place at Reynolds Auditorium. This year the beneficiary will be the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society and the "Be the Match" bone marrow national registry. As can be seen in the above flyer, the participants will be:
* the Reynolds High School Orchestra
* the Winston-Salem Civic Orchestra
* the Wiley Middle School 8th grade Honors Orchestra
There will also be special guests: the Ardmore Brass and RJR Alum Ian Zook!
The conductor of this AMAZING group of musicians will be RJR Orchestra teacher Margaret Rehder.
Please know that for school events, Reynolds Auditorium has a open seating policy (which means you don't have to sit near anyone...if you so choose).
If you would like to support this cause, or help with offsetting some of the travel expenses involved with the RJR Orchestra going to Atlanta in May to perform, you can do so by making a donation with your credit card (on a secure website) by clicking here ( * ).
