On Saturday evening, April 2nd, RJR's Booster Club will stage its second annual Reverse Raffle.

This event is the largest fund raiser for RJR athletics!  If you purchase a ticket to attend, you get to enjoy a meal catered by The Porch restaurant, there is a cash bar, a silent auction on a LOT of great items, and you get to participate in the Reverse Raffle. What makes a reverse raffle fun:  the winner is the person holding the raffle ticket that is chosen LAST.  The raffle prize:  $10,000 or 33% of the gross ticket sales.

FYI:  what is a team basket?  The parents of students participating on a RJR athletic team create a "team basket" (and thus there is one for lacrosse, field hockey, soccer, etc.).  Most are themed.  The girls' tennis team did a Mexican themed basket with tequila, salsas, margarita glasses, etc.

This evening is hosted by the RJ Reynolds High School Booster Club and is the largest fundraiser for RJR Athletics. It is a fabulous night of community for our Reynolds family, bringing together teams, coaches, current families, alums, and community supporters.

The RJR Booster Club helps maintain our fields, covers costs of new uniforms and protective equipment, provides athletic awards and senior recognition, and funds the Hall of Fame and All Sports Celebration each year. We help celebrate Homecoming, provide a welcome luncheon for our coaches, communicate and highlight events and athletes through print and social media, and address equipment and maintenance needs as they arise.

Our athletics programs field over 40 teams over the course of three season, which is over 400 student athletes. Sports provides so much more for our athletes than just competition; this became even more apparent over the last two years during the pandemic. It provides mentorship, accountability, a sense of belonging to a group, commitment, and pride. We welcome any support you can offer. Please come to the event and support our kids - we would love to see you! If you are unable to attend, please consider a donation!
