OCTOBER 12, 2018 – With October being Bully and Drug Prevention Month, students at Ward Elementary school have being stepping up to show they believe in treating everyone with kindness.
Tia Bradley, the School Counselor, reported that the first week of October, 457 students signed a No Bullying Pledge.
This week, students created Chains of Kindness in their classrooms.
“We had a total of 650 students and teachers to complete the ‘link-up’ challenge at Ward Elementary,” Bradley said. “Students participated in writing and/or drawing ways to show kindness by linking orange strips of paper to create a chain reaction.”
Bradley sent pictures of the first-graders in Molli Falgout’s class.
