March 5, 2021 - The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Education will meet on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, to conduct its regularly scheduled work session. The board committees will meet in open session at 5:00 p.m. in the auditorium of the Education Building located at 4801 Bethania Station Road in Winston-Salem.
The auditorium will be open to a limited audience per Governor Cooper’s Executive Order. All individuals wishing to attend will be required to submit to a symptom and temperature screening upon arrival and must wear face coverings and observe social distancing for the duration of the meeting. There will be overflow seating space available for people to watch the meeting live broadcast in Room 219 of the WS/FCS Education Building. As always, the meeting will be available for viewing on WS/FCS Cable2 (Spectrum viewers) or a link to the live broadcast can be found on the WS/FCS Cable2 webpage.
Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Education Calls Special Meetings to Conduct Board Training
The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Education has called a special meeting for the purposes of governance training on Wednesday, March 10, at 9:00 a.m. and Wednesday, March 17, also at 9 a.m. The board will meet in open session, virtually, via Microsoft Teams. The public is invited to watch the virtual training inside the Board Auditorium located in the Education Building at 4801 Bethania Station Road in Winston-Salem. The meeting will serve as an informational retreat and routine training. No action is expected during the meeting.
