September 12, 2023 – West Forsyth High School will spend this weekend celebrating the induction of the first class in its athletic hall of fame.
14 West Forsyth alumni and staff will be included in the first class of the hall of fame, with backgrounds in sports including basketball, football, baseball, volleyball, cross country, swimming, and more, and accolades reaching the collegiate, professional, and even Olympic levels. These athletes and support personnel will be recognized on Friday, September 15 during West Forsyth’s football game against Mount Tabor High School. Then, they will also enjoy a banquet at the Simpson Gym on Saturday, September 16 at noon.
