Summer Math

The purpose of Summer Math is to keep skills sharp and to be sure students are prepared for success in math classes for the 2021-2022 school year.

Students have the option to either:

  1. Work on a digital platform (Khan Academy, ACT Math Prep Sites, or Delta Math for example--codes and links below) to keep skills sharp OR complete one of the packets on this site.
  2. Students will receive a grade for this assignment at the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year. Students who do not complete this over the summer will have 1 month to complete it after school begins.
  3. Students who choose to complete the attached math packets should do the packet that corresponds with the class they are entering and show their work (for example, students who completed Math 1 should work on the Math 2 packet).  If a student works several problems on a page and feels comfortable with that type of problem, they do not need to complete all problems of that type. If they do not feel comfortable with that type of problem, they should look on Khan Academy for examples or write "I need help" on that page so the teacher knows to review that concept at the beginning of the year.
  4. Students who choose to work on a digital platform should complete this Google Doc to demonstrate their work.
  5. If you need a printed copy of the log sheet OR the math packet, reach out to the school and come by to pick it up (336-703-4145)
