Congratulations to Henry Stinehelfer, who won the 2023 Atkins Poet Laureate competition. Alana Gill will also advance to the WSFCS district competition to be held on April 13 at the Education Building. 

Returning to Atkins to help judge the competition was Atkins graduate Marrianna Flores, who is now attending Salem College. Flores is the only student to ever win the WSFCS Poet Laureate competition twice, and also won the state championship in Poetry Out Loud.
