National Honor Society applications are available each September from Mrs. Morgan in room 1007. In order to receive an application, the student must be in 11th or 12th grade and have a cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.2000 or higher. The application must show evidence of school activities, community activities, leadership, service, and character. Discipline and attendance records are also reviewed, and students are required to enroll in the "It's My Call" program. The completed applications are reviewed by a committee of EFHS staff members. Students who have earned membership are notified in October. Specific dates will be communicated through the daily school announcements.
Please be aware that the National Honor Society does not solicit students through mail or email. NSHSS is an organization that is not affiliated with any school system. It is a for-profit company that is not a part of National Honor Society in any way. Membership in these online organizations is not added to student transcripts and their graduation paraphernalia may not be worn during WSFCS ceremonies. Students will receive all National Honor Society communication from EFHS only!
