The Harlem Globetrotters and NCSV presentation 03/18/2019

THE HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS AND NCSV did a presentation at Ibraham Elementary School gym.  All grade levels including pre-K attended the function. Two law enforcement officers greeted the student when they entered the gym.  Globetrotters star Darnell "Speedy" Artist showed off his ball skills and talked about bullying prevention while playing fun games and asking questions.  “T.E.A.M. UP AT SCHOOL” program is designed by the National Campaign to Stop Violence (NCSV) and provide students with bullying solutions through the acronym T.E.A.M. that stands for Talk, Empathize, Ask, and Mobilize and explain the definition of each word in T.E.A.M. For example: 'EMPATHY means the ability to understand how someone who is upset feels.'
