Good evening. This is your weekly message from Forsyth Middle College for the week of March 19. Please note the following:
Parents, students received a copy of their report cards for the third grading quarter on Friday. A copy will be mailed home on tomorrow, March 20. Parents, we encourage you to take a look at the report cards and if you have concerns, please contact your child's teacher or contact Ms. Tlaseca, our counselor, at 734-7163.
We have seven weeks left in the school year before we begin exams May 15. It is important that students are present each day and that they are working to their potential in each class. Teachers are available for tutoring on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays in the mornings from 9 to 11 and the Learning Center on campus also provide additional academic support.
Parents, you are invited to come out to Middle College's annual "Decades Day" on Friday, March 24 from 11 to 1:30. Students in History classes will be presenting their projects on decades from 1900s to 2000s. Come out to see our students' works.
Our next 3 o'clock dismissal will be March 31 and April 7. Spring break for Middle College is April 10 to 14. If students have college classes on Monday, April 10, they should check with their college instructors to see if they will be having class on Monday, April 10. There will be no school transportation on Monday, April 10.
As always, feel free to check out our web site for information or contact us at 734-7437 if you have questions or concerns. Have a great week!
