Weekly Message 6/5/2020

Greetings this is a message from Dr. Bethea, Principal of Walkertown Elementary School. The following information can be found on the school’s website on the Principal’s Page.

Today’s call is to give you detailed instructions on how to return school items like laptops, hotspots, library books and more.  We have created a very precise schedule, so this process doesn’t take a lot of your time, but is also designed to protect the health and safety of our parents, students and our staff.  Please know we still must follow state guidelines with regard to social distancing and we ask your cooperation in taking part in the safety procedures you will see outlined upon arrival.

Parents are asked to Drop off and Pick up school items on Friday, June 12.

Detailed locations and times per grade level have been shared by our teachers.  The schedule is also provided on the school’s website. And, we will also continue to send phone messages as a reminder.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and especially your cooperation in returning these items during this unusual end to the school year.

If you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher.

That’s it for now! Enjoy your weekend! And as always thank you for being our partner in education!
