AT A GLANCE
Offerings At WS/FCS
Kindergarten
Kindergarten serves as a critical period where children develop foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, problem-solving, and fosters social competencies such as cooperation, communication, and empathy, which are essential for navigating future academic and life challenges.
Magnet
Magnet schools in WS/FCS are public schools of choice that offer specialized, theme-based educational programs open to all students in grades Kindergarten through 12. They differ from standard neighborhood schools by providing enriched curricula designed around thematic pathways such as STEM, arts, international studies, dual-language, and career-focused learning.
Career Technical Education
A dynamic program focusing on career preparation programs, career development, and supporting students with unique needs. Our mission is to ensure every student has the skills necessary and a plan for their future.
Early/Middle College
The Early and Middle College programs provide motivated students with the opportunity to complete high school while earning college credits through a partnership with Forsyth Technical Community College.
