The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools Board of Education will meet in the Education Building at 4801 Bethania Station Road in Winston-Salem on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 for a workshop and special called meeting.
The workshop will take place at 9:00 a.m. in room 219. The topics will include ongoing budget talks, the proposed reduction in force, exceptional children services, and the search for a new superintendent. The workshop will be recorded and available for viewing within 24 hours on the WS/FCS Cable 2 webpage.
The special called meeting begins with a closed session at 5:30 p.m. The open portion of the meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium. The purpose of the special called meeting is for discussion of the audit report and reduction in force recommendations. It will be available for viewing on WS/FCS Cable 2 (Spectrum viewers) or a link to the live broadcast can be found on the WS/FCS Cable 2 webpage. The meeting also streams live on the district’s YouTube channel.
