Board of Education

The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools Board of Education will begin its Tuesday, October 28, board committee meetings an hour earlier, at 3 pm, starting with the Curriculum Committee and following with the Finance Committee. The meetings will be held at the Education Building, 4801 Bethania Station Rd. in Winston-Salem. The open session of the regular meeting will begin at the typical time, 6:30 pm.

The board will also hold a series of Special Called Grievance Committee meetings at the WS/FCS Administrative Center, 475 Corporate Square Dr., Winston-Salem, to discuss a personnel matter and to conduct employee due process hearings, pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. 143-318.11(a)(6).

In the interest of maintaining employee privacy, these Special Called Grievance Committee meetings will be conducted in closed session and are not open to the public.

Special Called Grievance Committee meetings will be held on:

  • October 27 at 2 p.m.

  • October 29 at 4 p.m.

  • November 3 at 2 p.m.
