Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools is moving to a digital version of its annual Student Assignment letters. Visit the new WS/FCS Student Assignment Portal to view your student’s school assignment for the 2026-2027 school year.
This digital portal is especially helpful for students moving into grades 6 and 9, as they transition to a middle or high school. You need your child’s student ID number and birth date to access the assignment information.
Please note: due to the recent decision to close Cook Literacy Model School, assignments for Cook’s Kindergarten through fourth graders are not yet available. The portal will soon be updated with that information.
This new online process helps WS/FCS serve families more efficiently, providing faster access to information while reducing paper use and mailing delays.
