Frank Spencer Holiday Basketball Tournament Logo

The Frank Spencer Holiday Classic celebrates its 50th year in 2025, and the bracket for this year's tournament was officially revealed at this morning's kickoff ceremony.

Spencer was a major basketball enthusiast whose love of the sport was a driving force behind its popularization in North Carolina. The tournament he started is still a valuable chance for basketball fans in Forsyth County and beyond to come together and celebrate the season.

Admission is $10 per person all day at Walkertown High School, for consolation games at Reagan High School, and for championship games at Reagan (wristbands from earlier in the day can't be reused). NCHSAA principal and coach passes will be honored, but other employees will need to pay admission. Only clear bags will be allowed in the facility.

The cheerleading showcase will be held at halftime during the first day of games. Each squad will have three minutes to perform. Walkertown and Regan will communicate about seating ahead of the tournament. Music must be submitted to the host school by Friday, December 19.

Home teams (the higher seed team in white uniforms) will be responsible for keeping the official book. Games may be moved within the same bracket to avoid conference matchups when possible.

The first round matchups for this year's bracket can be viewed below.
