Norma Corley speaking to students at Morgan Elementary

In 1958, second-grader Norma Corley was one of three black students who desegregated the formerly all-white Easton Elementary School. She returned to WS/FCS as a long-time school counselor before retiring in 2022. Today, as we wind down Black History Month, this very brave and wise lady visited Frank Morgan Elementary to share her story with students. WS/FCS Cable 2 Photojournalist Kevin Wrenn shares how that story is a history lesson all on its own.
