Ashley Academy celebrated positive behavior and a love of reading with its PBIS “Gator Festi-Fall” on Friday, October 31. This school-wide event recognized students for demonstrating the school’s GATOR expectations — Go Getter, Accountable, Trustworthy, On Task, and Respectful.
In addition to fun carnival and fall-themed activities and games, students took part in “Dress as Your Favorite Book Character Day,” highlighting the school’s commitment to literacy and creativity.
The event brought together students, staff, and Glenn High School and community volunteers for a joyful day that built school spirit and reinforced the positive behaviors that help all students succeed.

On October 28th, Ashley Academy students were invited to Wake Forest University’s vibrant Project Pumpkin event — and what a splash they made! Scholars explored the wonders of the sea through interactive activities, gathered sweet treats, and enjoyed a day filled with laughter, learning, and ocean-themed adventures. From candy-filled treasure hunts to discovering fascinating marine facts, it was a memorable experience that blended education with Halloween fun!
Which character will you choose?!

We are very proud of the 20 gifted Gator scholars who will be exhibiting this year at the Carolina Classic Fair. Please get by to see the work of our talented students!

As we continue celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, congratulations go out to our latest Hispanic Trivia winners: Gerad, Josiah, Genesis, Yazlin and Jeriah. ¡Felicidades!

Ashley Gator Leaders were spoiled today by the generous folks from St. Paul's Episcopal Church and Kona Ice, both of Winston Salem. Our time together enjoying a delicious lunch and frozen treat was much appreciated!
