Listed below you will find a list of dates that has an event/activity for our senior students. Parents are invited to attend some of them but not all that are listed. If parents can attend it will be noted beside the date and event.
March 7-15, 2026: Spring Break – Enjoy your break
Present – April 8, 2026: Yearbooks are on sale for $30.00 online and at the school.

April 24, 2026: Starry Night Prom – Tickets $30 student and guest/chaperone –

Location: Simply Sonya’s 7843 North Point Blvd Winston Salem 27106 Time: 6:00 – 8:00 (parents are counted as a chaperone)
The district Prom Closet will be open on Saturday’s during March 7, March 21, and March 28 from 9-12. at 2700 S. Main Street in Winston Salem with parking behind the building
May 8, 2026: Awards Day – Carter Gym at 1:00pm - Parents invited
May 13, 2026: Senior Trip/Luncheon – Students will have their senior shirts to wear on this date.

** We will participate in several activities here and have lunch provided. Activities: Carousel, gem mining, zoo, putt-putt, nature lesson, and natural wildlife. We are working on a charter bus before we decide on time of leaving the school and returning to school. We will need parents to drop students off at Carter by 8:30am so that we can have a full day at the park. We will be back at school by 3:30 for the students to catch the bus home. If not able to get the charter, we will have to use the blue and white activity bus and maybe on time restriction. Parents may have to pay for some activities there if you wish to take part. Tickets for activities will vary and can be purchased at the train station.
May 15, 2026: Senior Walk – senior student will visit other schools from past – we plan to have students wear gowns. Gowns will come home on this day
May 20, 2026: Graduation Rehearsal at Paisley / Lowrance Auditorium – only parents of homebound students will attend. 1394 Thurmond Street Winston Salem

May 21, 2026: Graduation Ceremony at Paisley / Lowrance Auditorium –

Students will need to be at the school by 5:15 to get dressed and lined up for ceremony which will begin at 6:00pm. Please make sure you bring their cap and gown to the ceremony.
When students arrive at the school, parents will drop them off in the cafeteria to the graduation team before going into the auditorium.
Due to the high number of graduates and the limited amount of space in the auditorium, each graduate will only be allowed 5 people to come watch and celebrate with them. We will be giving everyone actual tickets to turn in on that night for admitting.
