The window to request a schedule change for the Fall semester is August 7-22. Please read all the information provided BEFORE submitting a request. If you have any additional questions, please contact your counselor.

Schedule Change Requests

Please read the information below carefully before submitting your request, as each student is limited to submitting only one request.

Multiple requests/submissions will not be accepted. Please ensure that your submission meets the criteria for a schedule change and includes all the necessary information for your counselor to consider the change. Due to scheduling considerations such as student requests and staffing, schedule changes will be approved on a very limited scale. There will be very limited opportunities for students to request an increase in rigor due to the restrictions of staffing and class sizes.

The following are the ONLY reasons a schedule change request will be approved:

Missing a class needed for graduation
Scheduled for a class previously taken & passed
There is a gap/open period in my schedule (incomplete schedule)
A prerequisite for the class is missing (sequencing issue)
Schedule Conflict (ex: scheduled for the same course twice, courses scheduled at the same time, etc).
I am not interested in taking this class/I did not register for this class

Students WILL NOT be able to change their schedule because they no longer wish to take a course they requested, they prefer to have a different teacher, or because they would like to be in class with their friends.

Last, please check your WSFCS email for communication from your counselor regarding changes to your schedule. Schedule changes are not guaranteed and are based on availability. Some course changes may require a change in your entire schedule. Test scores & grades in previous courses are taken into consideration. You must continue to follow your current schedule until you have been advised otherwise.
