YAC is hosting a FREE outreach event for teens - ages 13 to 18 - on Saturday, December 7 from 5-7 pm at the GT Peer Support Center (930 S. Broad Street, Winston Salem). We'll be grilling hot dogs and roasting s'mores over an open fire pit. We've planned this informal gathering to invite teens to share their voices to help create a safe, inclusive space in the community for teens to meet. All of us are acutely aware of the challenges our teens face today so we're inviting them to create a safe, inclusive space for them to gather, make connections with other teens, and navigate life's challenges.
Feel free to bring a friend! We're very excited about our S'More Power To You - Outdoor Fire Pit Gathering for Teens on Saturday, December 7th from 5-7 pm at the GreenTree Peer Center.
Please contact me if you have any questions. Mary Beth via email: myoung@greentreepeercenter.org.
