EFHS Oak Tree Community Tribute Night
Join us on December 19, 2025, during the home basketball games for a special evening as we honor the legacy of the historic EFHS Oak Tree—a symbol that has stood at the heart of our campus for generations.
Community members are invited to stop by and write memories, messages, and stories on commemorative leaf cards. These leaves will become part of a permanent visual display that celebrates our shared history and the roots that connect us all. If you cannot make it to the game, but would like to document your memory or message, commemorative leaf cards will be in the office in January.
Location: EFHS Gym Lobby & Oak Tree Site
Time: 4:30–6:30 PM
After sharing your memory, stay and cheer on our Eagles Basketball Teams! Wear your East Forsyth colors and help us celebrate the rich traditions and history that make EFHS so special in the Kernersville community.
As part of our campus renovation, the mulch from our beloved Oak Tree will be used to beautify our upgraded campus, ensuring its presence continues to shape EFHS for years to come. We will also plant a new tree and install a plaque to honor the meaning and legacy of this mighty oak.
