Join us for Family Learning Sessions! On October 22, we will be presenting Cool, Calm, and Collected: Mindful Parenting and Behavior Management! Learn how to build stronger parent-child relationships, promote positive behaviors, and create a supportive atmosphere that encourages emotional growth and resilience. This session will take place at the William Roscoe Anderson Recreation Center at 6:30 pm!

Due to the impending weather brought by Hurricane Helene, all WS/FCS will be closed on Friday, September 27. All extracurricular activities for that day have also been cancelled.

Want to join in on the fun of Hispanic Heritage Month at home? Show off your creativity by making a piñata with your scholar! Bring the piñata to the school by Oct. 11 . We will pick 1 winner of the most creative piñata!

It's Hispanic Heritage Month! Join us in celebrating Hispanic cultures around the world by dressing up each day of Spirit Week next week!

Each month, we highlight students who exhibited our Learner Profile Attribute of the Month! August's attribute was PRINCIPLED. Congratulations to the students who were nominated as being principled throughout the month of August!

We hosted our first Kona Ice Day on Friday and it was a great success! We'll be hosting another Kona Ice Day on September 27th - pre-orders will be due by 9 pm on Sept. 26th. Make sure to pre-order and include your scholar's name and lunch time teacher in the order!

Kona Ice Day is this Friday! If you would like for your student to have Kona Ice, then you need to submit your pre-order today! Students will not be allowed to visit the truck if they have not pre-ordered. A percentage of the proceeds from Kona Ice Day will go towards the media center's fully funded book fair.
